Eric Ladner

Eric Ladner is erstwhile the President of the South Mississippi Linux Users Group.

Maybe Mr. Ladner should find a better picture.

Mr. Ladner's picture was removed by request of the International Bureau of Standards and Decency.

Bio

Eric has been a long time Linux user, since about kernel 0.99pl5 or so and is registered with the Linux Counter site with user number 6965 (which means he's obviously old and has too little to do outside of the house). He is currently running Ubuntu 6.10 Desktop.

Eric's day job is with Chevron where he does HP-UX system administration, Oracle DBA work and application development in a wide variety of technologies such as HTML/CSS, JSP, Perl and shell scripts.

Current things on Mr. Ladner's to do list:

1. Learn Ruby on Rails
2. Fix the last annoying things with my MythTV install
3. Finish my lotto nubmer site thing (not always up)

Some of Mr. Ladner's other hobbies:

• The Factory Five roadster that I built.
• My Fender HM Strat Ultra (like this one Image:Strat_hm.jpg)
• Tending to his two kids (although that isn't much of a hobby).
